Service members can build skills and knowledge for their future by going back to school. Resources and the assistance of professionals and leaders can help them make informed decisions about starting or continuing down their education path.

The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) helps Service members and Veterans pursue their educational goals and earn degrees or certifications both during and after their service.

Many benefits are available to advance the education and skills of Veterans and Servicemembers. Spouses and family members may also be eligible for education and training assistance in fact, 25 percent of those benefitting from VAs education programs are non-Veterans. Some might find they're eligible for more than one benefit or that one program is more suited to certain education and training goals than another.

The College Scorecard provides the most reliable national data on college costs, graduation rates, typical debt levels, and post-college earnings. It is available to help students make informed choices about attending college.
